Visual Comfort To Join Generation Brands’ Portfolio

In a recent report released by Moody’s Investors Service this week, AEA Investors LP – the global private investment firm that purchased Generation Brands (VC GB Holdings) last June – has entered into a “definitive agreement to acquire Visual Comfort & Co. for $630 million alongside its existing investment in Generation Brands.”

Visual Comfort, the ARTS Award-winning lighting manufacturer based in Houston, TX is estimated to have annual revenues of $200 million. According to Moody’s, the combination of Generation Brands and Visual Comfort will create a decorative lighting company with $500 million in annual revenues. The announcement did not make clear whether Circa Lighting was included in the acquisition.

  1. It’s over 6 months and as a dealer of Visual Comfort we are noticing a reduction in quality and quality control. Quality that is acceptable in certain brands PLEASE DO NOT RUIN THIS GREAT COMPANY.
