NEW DATES ANNOUNCED FOR LIGHTOVATION 2021 & BEYOND
Responding to exhibitor and attendee concerns that the previously announced January 2021
Lightovation—Dallas International Lighting Show dates would start too close to New Year’s Day and on the heels of one of the most heavily traveled holiday vacation weeks, the Dallas Market Center (DMC) has adjusted the dates and taken care that they do not directly conflict with other trade shows
being held that month.
Furthermore, there is a shift in the
days of the week; in January 2021, opening day will be on Thursday instead of Wednesday and end on Sunday. This change is also in response to attendee and exhibitor preference. The summer edition of Lightovation, including the upcoming June 24-27 show, remains a Wednesday to Saturday pattern.
“This new date pattern allows
Lightovation to remain the first lighting show of the year, free and clear of other trade events, and aligned with buyer and exhibitor preferences,” says Cindy Morris, President & CEO of Dallas Market Center. “It’s critically important
to offer event dates that are most convenient for exhibitors and loyal buyers visiting Lightovation from around the world.”
