Continuous aluminum construction, a flexible acrylic diffuser, and aircraft cable suspension contribute to Interlace’s seamless look in a Chrome finish. The driver is concealed within the canopy, which powers high-output LEDs that can be dimmed with an ELV, 0-10V, or a TRIAC dimmer. For the Rinkle Collection, sheets of clear pattern acrylic are formed by hand to create a one-of-a-kind lighting sculpture. Each sheet is illuminated by an LED strip on top, and the pattern in the acrylic picks up the light for visibility. www.et2online.com

What’s noteworthy: An inventive – and beautiful – use for
upcycling discarded glass.
Salvaged material from the company’s domestic glass production is repurposed in LED-lit artisan cast glass and paired with hand-polished metalwork. Three downlights provide additional task lighting.
“This light expresses my fascination with the use of restraint in design,” says Levi Wilson, Hammerton founder and VP/Design. “Restraint makes thoughtful use of only the necessary elements to achieve a desired effect. It’s a vastly more disciplined design approach than Minimalism, which is typically achieved by minimizing excess.”
The Glacier linear suspension is offered in 2 sizes and 8 finishes.
