NORA LIGHTING DONATES TO AMERICAN RED CROSS FOR WILDFIRE RELIEF
Commerce, Calif.-based Nora Lighting employees and the rm’s reps and distributors supported the American Red Cross (ARC) Home Fires Relief e orts with a generous nancial donation to
assist wild re victims throughout California.
“The photos and personal stories of families who lost their homes dur-
ing these devastating wild res was heartbreaking,” says Neda Farzan, Nora Lighting’s Business Development Analyst, who oversaw the Nora e ort.
“Our entire team was unanimous in agreeing to support the ARC wild- re relief programs to help these families get back on their feet,” she adds. The American Red Cross continues to assist wild re emergency respond- ers and volunteers with food and supplies; provide shelters and food for re evacuees; o er medical care; and continue on-going recovery plans.
The ARC, a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education throughout the world. It assists in nearly 64,000 disaster responses a year and 95 percent of their relief workers are volunteers.
