Much like Hollywood’s Oscars®, the home décor industry experienced its
star-studded gala last month with the 31st edition of the ARTS Awards, sponsored by the Dallas Market Center, ART (the creative home furnishings network), plus trade magazines including enLIGHTenment magazine.
This year’s event had its share of celebrities with co-hosts Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia, original cast members on the reality show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and now on Bravo TV with Get a Room With Carson & Thom, plus actress Jane Seymour bestowing the Acad- emy of Achievement Award on her friend and furniture design partner Michael Amini of AICO.
