 S VEGAS MARKET
Re ecting industry optimism and a hunger for new product introductions, Las Vegas Market was marked by brisk business and strong order-writing, according to International Market Centers (IMC). Winter 2019 Las Vegas
Market presented more than 4,000 furniture, home décor, and gi  resources, more than 170 of which were new to the campus’ permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits.
“Las Vegas Market delivered a dynamic, top-notch shopping experience for buyers and suppliers alike,” says Bob Maricich, CEO of IMC. “[We] had a great start to the winter 2019 trade show season, with overall industry optimism fueling coast-to-coast Market success.”
“We’ve had phenomenal tra c and saw more a endance than we’ve seen in the last couple years,” notes Luis Ruesga, CEO of Zuo Modern. “People are excited to be here and they like what we are showing. Our market has been wonderful.”
“We’ve had a great show with a steady stream of buyers,” adds Jason Phil- lips, Vice President of Phillips Collection. “There has been a great energy at market, and I’ve heard from many other manufacturers that they’ve also been very happy with the show.”
The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market showcased nearly 600 temporary home décor and gi  resources, including more than 300 new exhibitors since last market.
Las Vegas Market also announced the return of the Gi  & Home CEO Summit for Summer 2019 Market, in partnership with Eller Enterprises. The one-day event, scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, is designed to address and provide insight into the critical issues facing today’s industry leaders through a series of presentations and meaningful networking opportunities.

“This was quite simply the best January in recent memory,” says Cindy Morris, DMC President & CEO. “We experienced gains across every category of business, but more importantly our exhibitors in every neighborhood reported steady, deep order-writing with many of them noting unprecedented sales numbers and new accounts. Dallas International Lighting Show welcomed more retailers, reporting a 22-percent increase in new buyers a ending from the U.S.

with an abundance of new product o erings. We were thrilled with the responses to our latest o erings of fashion, technology, and innovative programming for the ever-changing environment.”
