customize. For Mother Stewart’s

Brewery in Spring eld, Ohio, a er the
glass design crew produced internal

artwork for the building, they were
asked to create lighting for the brewery

section. “As I walked into the space, I
knew immediately what was needed,”

recalls Doug Frates. “I sat down with
the clients over a glass of their locally

brewed beer, of course, and learned how
they wanted the lighting to complement

the hard work of running a medium-sized
brewing operation. They wanted it to be

simple, elegant, robust, and yet timely.

They wanted conversation starters.”
