Executives at the Dallas Market Center (DMC) have announced two promotions: Cole Daugherty is now Senior Vice President/Marketing Communications and Amy Galindo is VP/Market Services.
In Daugherty’s new role, he will oversee content and creative for marketing communications including public relations, advertising, social media, graphic design, videography and copywriting. Galindo is responsible for travel, market services, and international business development.
“Cole and Amy each bring a breadth of experience to their new positions, having served in multiple roles across the company with consistent success,” recounts Cindy Morris, COO of DMC. “As we embark upon a series of new business initiatives, their strategic mindset will help the marketplace thrive.”

With a 12-year career at DMC, Daugherty has served the Marketing and the Lease Administration divisions most recently as VP/Customer Relations. Prior to joining DMC, he was an account executive with Springbok Technologies, a Dallas-based public relations agency. He is an alumnus of Baylor University, the University of Missouri, and Texas A&M University. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for Southern Methodist University’s Department of Communication Studies as well as marketing co-chair for Gift for Life, the national gift and home industry charity raising funds for DIFFA, the Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS.
Galindo has been an integral part of DMC for seven years, first managing international business development and delivering a substantial increase in international buyer attendance. More recently, Galindo added Market Services to her responsibilities, driving growth for the DMC Travel department and increasing efficiency for market services. Prior to joining DMC, she was a sales professional for Jan Barboglio, the Dallas-based luxury home furnishings collection, working with key retailers including Neiman Marcus. She is a marketing alumna of Tarleton State University.
