Nuvo Lighting Lands ENERGY STAR Version 1.1 Approval: Nuvo Lighting, a brand of Satco Products, Inc. based in Brentwood, N.Y., has received ENERGY STAR version 1.1 approval for 360+ lighting fixtures. Nuvo Lighting is one of the first manufacturers to have a large quantity of decorative fixtures qualified under the new regulations.
Complete collections of ENERGY STAR-qualified fixtures afford architectural design consistency in large projects like condominiums, office complexes, hotel/motel installations, and other hospitality-related applications, as well as individual homes.
“We felt it [was] only right to offer the industry choices,” says Bill Gildin, President of Satco Products. “We know how critical energy conservation is, and we also understand how lighting designers and architects want and need design freedom – plus a range of great-looking fixtures — yet they must be sensitive to energy efficiency. We feel we’ve addressed both needs very well,” notes Gildin.
