ART & IDS Combine Conferences in 2017
ART (the creative home furnishings network formerly known as the Accessories Resource Team) and the Interior Design Society (IDS), will hold their first combined conference on May 18-21, 2017 at the Firesky Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. This inaugural partnership will feature programming for joint general sessions and social events as well as workshops and seminars that are specific to the two unique memberships.
ART Conference has specialized in programming that inspires and motivates the home accessory industry attendees and unique events and community projects. The IDS Conference has specialized in business development for its interior designer membership and typically held its annual awards presentation at the gathering. This 2017 conference will combine the two philosophies for one joint meeting.
“This joint conference is the culmination of ART’s efforts and outreach with the interior design community on behalf of our membership over the last couple of years,” says Sharon Davis, Executive Director of ART. “Our vendor members, retailers, and suppliers are working more and more with the interior design community and this conference will give us an opportunity to provide quality networking and research time for both groups.”
“IDS is committed to connecting interior designers with the best resources to build their business. Our collaboration with ART is invaluable to that commitment,” says Jenny Cano of IDS. “The sharing of knowledge and expertise between these two groups has the potential to have a powerful impact on our industry.”
The program detail and registration for attendance details will be available in January 2017.
