Dallas Market Center opens Light + Design Showroom

The much-anticipated debut for the Light + Design space on the 10th floor of the World Trade Center in the Dallas Market Center (DMC) occured this month at a ribbon-cutting event that drew more than 400 interior designers.

The new space, featuring a curated selection of lighting manufacturers, will be open daily to the trade and will be staffed full-time. The participating manufacturers sent their merchandising teams to outfit their designated areas with an assortment of merchandise that best reflects their specialty. The showroom is equipped with enough seating space to accommodate educational sessions, among other amenities.

“The grand opening of Light + Design was a fantastic success, but also testimony to the strength of our open-daily business,” says Cindy Morris, DMC President & CEO. “As we continue to welcome more interior designers to DMC, resources such as Light + Design are critical to serve buyers year-round. It will be a fine complement to the many open-daily showrooms already serving thousands of buyers visiting our marketplace each month.”

There is still room to accommodate a few more exhibitors, but right now the showcased manufacturers are:
