Just ahead of the Spring High Point Market comes news that giant home decor resource Surya has signed an agreement to purchase Global Views, an ARTS Award-winning manufacturer of home furnishings and decorative accessories. The deal will enable Atlanta-based Surya to expand its penetration into the high-end interior design community as well as complement its existing home furnishings assortment with a wider range of accent pieces and accessories.
Under the terms of the purchase, Global Views will continue to operate as an independent brand with creative direction from CEO David Gebhart. The deal is expected to be completed in the coming months.
