The new Surf LED surface-mounted ceiling fixtures give the appearance of being recessed, but are installed over standard or fire-rated J-boxes. The slim line LED is just 7/8-inch thick and includes a DC dimmable driver. The edge-lit luminaire has an embedded honeycomb lens light guide that produces even illumination while reducing glare. The style is available in 4-, 6-, and 7-inch round and square apertures. Lumen choices range from 650 to 1,000 and with temperatures from 2700K to 5000K. Surf offers 90+ CRI, has a regressed lens supported by a deep grooved white baffle, and is both ENERGY STAR-certified and cULus-listed for wet locations.
