You’d think a Kitchen & Bath Show would have some pretty typical designs. However, this year manufacturers had plenty of surprises for builders who wanted something out of the ordinary to distinguish their homes.
This door design by Wellborn Cabinet encompasses two shades of neutral gray with a slate glaze. The combination of the two harmonizes well together to give a little oomph to the ordinary neutral.
Delta’s Touch2O technology allows a homeowner to simply tap anywhere on the spout or handle of the faucet with your hand, wrist, or forearm to start and stop the flow of water. The water flow and temperature are controlled manually, with the setting remaining the same as the previous use.
The Sphera range hood (available in black or white) has a cool modern design and is equipped with halogen bulbs for bright illumination at the cooktop. It operates via a four-speed push-button control and has quick-release grease/charcoal filters. It is part of the Sorpresa Collection from Best Range Hoods.
Coastal Shower Doors’ Gridscape shower doors are offered in an Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish and a choice of clear, satin, or patterned glass. National Accounts Manager Patrick Cobb notes, “We set up a Pinterest page for the Gridscape product to see what kind of response we would get from pinners. The feedback was inspiring; people were pinning Gridscape shower doors left and right and asking where they could find this new product.”
Thought that stainless always means Contemporary? Viking’s new line of Tuscany Ranges are manufactured in Italy by a fellow subsidiary. The ranges can be ordered in 36- and 48-inch widths in various surface configurations and in the following color finishes: Dark Blue, Stainless, Graphite Black, and Antique White. “These ranges are perfect for the customer who demands performance and an Old World look,” says Brent Bailey, VP/Brand Management.
The Big Chill Pro Line Fridge pairs modern lines with silver trim and bold colors.
