Domestic lighting manufacturer Hubbardton Forge has collaborated with Adorne by Legrand to debut six lustrous metal wallplates that are hand-forged by fire at Hubbardton Forge’s blacksmithing facility in Vermont.
“Since its inception, the adorne collection has changed the paradigm of the light switch from something ordinary to truly exceptional, both in terms of design and functionality,” says Amy Hahne, Vice President of the adorne collection. “We’ve raised the bar again with this exciting collaboration — the new wall plates are stunning on their own, but are taken to a new level of aesthetic appeal when synchronized with a Hubbardton Forge light fixture.”

The switchplates are available in the following finishes: Black, an opaque finish that is clean, crisp, and classic; Natural Iron, a silvery finish; Mahogany, a richly tinted clear coat of translucent finish; Dark Smoke, a translucent finish in a dark patina that highlights the natural texture; Burnished Steel, a translucent finish that elevates the metal’s natural color; and Bronze, a warm, translucent sheen that shows off the steel’s original finish. www.adornemy home.com
