Denver-based American Lighting appoints Jason Echols to lead its Architainment division, a new section that will focus on the entertainment and architectural sectors – including the mobile DJ, live show and theatrical stage productions, church, and event lighting markets.
The new division will promote American Lighting’s exclusive brands – Ilumenite and Irradiant – as well as a third brand that will be relaunched in the coming months.
The Irradiant brand is a line of affordable effects for DJs and indoor venues, while Ilumenite targets the outdoor segment. The third brand will feature the “Geni” range of moving lights, designed for club and pro-lighting applications. All distribution will be handled through American Lighting’s Denver facility, with a goal of eventually manufacturing products at its headquarters.
“The biggest news is the opportunity to operate under the American Lighting umbrella and take advantage of the well-oiled distribution machine they’ve built here in Denver.” says Echols.
Echols brings 18+ years of sales and distribution experience in the lighting and light source industry. He has worked for Antari in Taiwan, a disc jockey company in Singapore, and Neo-Neon in China. Most recently, he led the Musicorp/MBT Lighting sourcing office in Taipei, Taiwan. He is looking forward to revamping 50 current products and developing new innovations for the Architainment division.
