The American Made Show: New Date & New Location

The American Made Show (formerly known as the Buyers Market of American Craft) will take place January 16-19 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.  The show offers thousands of product lines in 100+ product divisions designed and handmade by American and Canadian artists and designers.

American Made Show representatives hand-select each artist participating so that retailers can be assured that the items they are purchasing are authentically made in the U.S. or Canada as claimed. Attending retailers can find glass, ceramics, jewelry, wood, sculpture, fiber, metal, eco-friendly, recyclable, and mixed-media wearable, functional, and decorative art. The show is attended by galleries, museum gift shops, catalog buyers, e-retailers, and other specialty retailers throughout North America. The show’s organizer, the Rosen Group, expects more than 4,000 buyers to attend the January show. Each registered buyer is a credentialed and reputable retailer of American merchandise.

New this year is a summit with leaders from the American Made, Buy Local, and Main Street movements. Free and open to the public, the American Made Alliance’s summit will take place January 15, and will feature leaders in the arts and business industries who will come together to discuss policy affecting the ability to sustain and grow the American-made industry and small, independent businesses.

In June, an edition of the American Made Show will debut at the Dallas Market Center, running concurrently with the Dallas Total Home + Gift Market, which includes the International Lighting Market.
