Syracuse, N.Y.-based Crescent Electric Supply Company (Crescent Electric) has named Legrand®, a leading provider of electrical wiring devices and home systems, as its Supplier of the Year for the Pass & Seymour® product line. Legrand was competing against 600 other vendors, all represented by Crescent Electric, including most major brands. The company set stringent requirements for all suppliers that were measured on a supplier metric scorecard. Areas where Legrand excelled included inventory management, product training, logistics optimization, and financial management. Additional areas of scrutiny included marketing support, representative knowledge and support, and supplier performance.
Jason Swick, strategic account manager for the Electrical Wiring Systems dvision at Legrand, North America says, “In a highly competitive market we know that service excellence and customer centricity are two key differentiators amongst others.
