[dropcap]M[/dropcap]okena, Ill.-based GM Lighting is looking to reward “amazing applications” where its products are used alone or in conjunction with other lighting. Installations should have been completed in 2017 to be eligible and may be in the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors and can include task, indoor, or outdoor/landscape products.
The competition is divided into regions, with prizes being awarded to the best submissions in each. First Prize is two $500 Amazon gift cards (one for the GM rep and one for the lighting designer/contractor); Second Prize is two $250 Amazon gift cards (one to the rep, the other to the lighting designer); plus there will be prizes for each territory.
The contest is open to all GM Lighting reps throughout the U.S. and Canada; the deadline is December 31. To enter, submit high-res images (300dpi or higher) of the application or environment (including mirrors, decorative/task elements) illuminated by GM Lighting products. Be sure the rep agency’s name, lighting designer/specifier, and product SKU are provided. All submissions will be property of GM Lighting and will be featured in advertising, social media, promotions, and product literature where appropriate. Winners will be determined by a judging panel comprised of GM Lighting employees. “If you sell it, design it, market it, or talk about it, then you are qualified to judge it,” explains Tim Forbush, Eastern Regional Sales Manager. Winners will be notified once the decisions are finalized.
