Award-winning lighting manufacturer Hubbardton Forge, headquartered in Castleton, Vt., is continuing its upward momentum in product development, customer service, and staffing with the appointment of Ray Langton as CEO. In naming Langton to this position, Hubbardton Forge executives are targeting accelerated growth. Langton replaces Bob Dillon, who remains a shareholder in the business.
“Bob has navigated one of the most challenging periods in our country’s financial history, since coming on-board in 2009, and Hubbardton Forge has grown substantially under his direction,” says Rufus Clark, Managing Partner at Bunker Hill Capital. “Ray Langton has a deep expertise in manufacturing and corporate leadership and we are confident that he will help the talented team at Hubbardton Forge as they focus on reaching the next level.”
“I look forward to working with the Hubbardton Forge team and to continuing their tradition of quality, service, and innovation,” adds Langton, who is relocating to Vermont and will be based at the company’s headquarters.
“This is a solid company with great products and a unique American success story in manufacturing,” Clark states. “We see a real opportunity, given the design direction that this team has taken, with the design community in both residential and commercial arenas.”
According to executives, the strengthening economy and increase high-end home builds and remodels presents an incredible opportunity. Last year, Hubbardton Forge introduced two new brands – Vermont Modern and Synchronicity – and the goal is to continue its growth.
