International Market Centers (IMC) has hired seasoned digital executive Mark Crowther as its Chief Digital Officer. Crowther has 25+ years of experience transforming how organizations interact with customers and growing a company’s value proposition through innovative technology solutions. His experience across several verticals includes technology, advertising, media, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), and financial services.

Crowther brings expertise in leveraging technology and innovation for growth and has been a founder/CEO and advisor to growth-stage and Fortune 500 companies on digital strategy and innovation. He spent the last five years at Amazon, Inc. in leadership positions, most recently as Global Head of Business Development for Amazon Local Advertising. Crowther previously led Digital Innovation for Private Equity at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where his experience included partnering with private equity portfolio companies to build and scale new products, including designing a digital marketplace connecting buyers and sellers and automating merchant onboarding, among others.

Crowther holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol in the U.K., a master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He will report to Bob Maricich and will serve as a member of IMC’s executive leadership team, which includes Chief Technology Officer Max Fraser; VP/Product & Design Tripp Regan; VP/Design & Content Scott Mayer; VP/Customer Success Marisa Garcia; and Senior VP Alex Fraser — all of which will report to Crowther.
