International Market Centers Hires New Leasing Directors To Support Growth Strategy: Officials from International Market Centers, L.P. (IMC) – operator of home furnishings, gift, and home décor showrooms and exhibition spaces in High Point, N.C. and Las Vegas – announce the addition of three new Gift Leasing Directors. The additions are intended to position Las Vegas as the leader of the total gift and home industry in the West.
All three will focus their efforts on growing IMC’s West Coast platform at Las Vegas Market with new gift suppliers. They will be responsible for continuing the growth of Gift + Home at Las Vegas Market, while also launching new categories in both World Market Center Las Vegas’ permanent showrooms and the gift temporaries/trade show.
“Gift + Home at Las Vegas Market has seen considerable growth during the last two years—as much as 46 percent increase in gift store attendance,” says Dorothy Belshaw, recently named Gift President. “Combined with a number of leading suppliers in the gift industry signing new leases at World Market Center—and many more on the horizon—the momentum is unstoppable. The common theme in the industry, which has driven all of this great talent to IMC, is that gift suppliers and buyers alike want Las Vegas to emerge as the Western market.”
Prior to joining the IMC team, Kramer was a longtime sales executive with the New York International Gift Fair, where he was the Exhibit Sales Manager since June 2008 and responsible for an exhibitor base of 700+ accounts and prospecting new vendors. Pam Williams brings more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as the Divisional Sales Director for the California Gift Show – Williams was the top sales producer for the past five years and creator of innovative strategies and destinations, including Kentia and World Style, that supported 500+ domestic and international relationships. Woellner-Krupp most recently served as Director of Category: Consumer Products Licensing Division for the Walt Disney Company, focusing on stationery and social expression gifts. She was responsible for strategic brand planning, contract negotiations, and new business development.
