Pamela St. Martin Joins LED Inspirations

Houston-based LED Inspirations (LEDI) – which manufactures tape light, accent lighting, and lighting fixtures – has hired Pamela St. Martin as VP/Sales & Marketing. In this newly created position, St. Martin will assist LED Inspirations’ expansion into the lighting showroom channel nationwide.

Founded in August 2010 by Nick Senofsky, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M and later owned distributor Lighting Unlimited in Houston, the company has been growing in leaps and bounds from commercial applications to high-end residential installations. From Senofsky’s initial product of a high-quality LED tape light, the company has expanded into additional categories that offer innovative lighting techniques.

Long-time residential lighting industry veteran Pamela St. Martin – who has held executive sales & marketing positions with Fine Art Lamps, John-Richard, and most recently Van Teal – says she is excited to join a company that offers “technical innovation and the highest level of integrity.”

Julia Buckingham Launches Collection With Global Views

Julia-BuckinghamRenowned Chicago-based interior designer Julia Buckingham has partnered with Global Views on a new collection of lighting, furniture, rugs, tabletop, and accessories featuring her signature Modernique® style, described as “a marriage of modern and antique.”

Encompassing 100+ products, the new Julia Buckingham for Global Views Collection was created to encourage people to not just decorate, but curate their spaces in a personal and meaningful way.

The collaboration is the result of mutual admiration. “I’ve been a customer and a fan of Global Views for a long time, so when the idea came up for a collection, it immediately felt very natural,” Buckingham explains. “Global Views has always encouraged people to be inspired by their products and interpret them in their own way. That is the way [the company] displays new products in their showroom and it is the same premise of Modernique®. I encourage clients to make a home all their own and to express themselves by mixing decorative elements in unexpected combinations.”

What can retailers expect to see in her collection? “A confident use of color, diverse materials, and finishes – and most importantly – unusual accents that allow consumers to express themselves creatively and uniquely.”

A preview of the line debuted in the Global Views showrooms last month at the summer Dallas Total Home + Gift Market (which includes the International Lighting Market)  and will also be on display this month at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market and in August at the Las Vegas Market.
