Kuzco Group Acquires Auroralight, Expands Capabilities

Lighting manufacturer Kuzco Group has announced the acquisition of Auroralight, a commercial-grade outdoor lighting manufacturer based in Carlsbad, California. This strategic move reinforces Kuzco Group’s commitment to pioneering design, innovation, and quality in the lighting industry.

Established in 1996, Auroralight has been recognized as a trailblazer in high-quality, marine-grade landscape lighting fixtures. The brand has consistently delivered solid brass and copper fixtures capable of withstanding any harsh environment. Auroralight offers a lifetime warranty and has pushed sustainability initiatives with its quality of materials and localized manufacturing. John Hradnansky will be continuing his work with Auroralight as acting CEO with Steve Wood acting as President.

The acquisition of Auroralight reportedly aligns with Kuzco Group’s vision, bringing together two design-focused manufacturers to create groundbreaking design in new categories. This acquisition expands the company’s broad offering, which includes the brands Kuzco, Alora, and Alora Mood as well as the growing number of new categories offered by Kuzco Group, such as smart fans, mirrors, and track systems.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Auroralight and their beautiful, quality product to our brand portfolio” states Nathan Yang, President of Kuzco Lighting. “By combining design expertise and an unwavering commitment to quality, this collaboration will drive innovation and set new benchmarks in the landscape lighting industry and beyond. Kuzco Group will now begin to work with the team at Auroralight on new and exciting concepts utilizing Auroralight’s made in the USA manufacturing facilities.

Paul Sidhu, Director of Marketing for Kuzco Group, notes, “The acquisition of Auroralight into our brand portfolio is a huge step forward when it comes to our design and manufacturing capabilities. This is a whole new side of lighting we can explore and expand upon using the expertise of the team at Auroralight.”

Attendees at Lightovation this week, held at the Dallas Market Center, can view an offering of Auroralight products in the Kuzco showroom on the fourth floor of the Trade Mart.
