Las Vegas Market Expects Large Latin American Presence for Summer Show

The PLATIN-Latin American Alliance buying group has enjoyed shopping the Las Vegas Market for several years, but the upcoming Summer 2021 Market held August 22 to 26 will be especially welcoming as a permanent showroom and gathering space specifically designated for PLATIN America members will debut.

The goal of PLATIN America is to build mutually beneficial relationships between Latin American buyers and vendors at trade shows in the USA. There are currently 900+ PLATIN pre-qualified commercial and retail Latin American buyers from 30 Latin American countries segmented by: Home & Accents, Christmas, Floral, and Lighting. PLATIN-Latin American Alliance’s new permanent showroom at World Market Center Las Vegas in Building A will showcase member vendors, serve as an incubator for brands to grow their American presence, and provide a gathering place for 900+ buyers and sellers from Latin American countries.

Some 20 additional buying groups and trade organizations from across the U.S. have confirmed their participation in the Summer 2021 Las Vegas Market and events and meetings are planned for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Pacific Furniture Dealers, and the Aquarium & Garden Buyers Group among others. Leaders from the Gourmet Catalog, Home Staging & Redesign Association, HTI Buying Group, International Association of Home Staging Professionals, and Southwest Buying Group will also be attending, along with members of Ace Hardware, Association of Golf Merchandisers, CRAFT Retailers & Artists for Tomorrow, Museum Store Association, Spa Industry Association, True Value, and Wild Birds Unlimited.

More than 75 key national retailers such as American Signature, At Home, Bloomingdales, Caesars Entertainment/Harrahs, Costco, Cost Plus World Market, Dillard’s, Hobby Lobby, HOM Furniture, Furniture Mart USA, Kirkland’s, Kitchen Kaboodle, Kroger, Macys, Marriott Hotels, and Sam’s Club are expected to source a wide range of lifestyle product.
