Lighting Is Among the Categories at DMC’s Nearshoring America EXPO

The Dallas Market Center (DMC) has announced the first set of exhibitors for its first-ever Nearshoring America EXPO, an international trade show designed to facilitate nearshoring production services for gift, home furnishings, lighting, and fashion accessories companies.

The inaugural event will be held December 9-11 and will connect brands and their representatives with vetted factories and supply chain service providers from Mexico and Latin America. Attendee registration is now open at the Nearshoring America website.

The first round of exhibitor announcements includes three prominent pavilions:

  • COFOCE (Coordinadora de Fomento al Comercio Exterior), an organization based in Guanajuato, Mexico, promoting international trade opportunities, and
  • ABILUX, showcasing nine companies representing Brazil’s finest in lighting manufacturing and design.

In addition, dozens of individual factories and service providers will be exhibiting, offering a wide array of production and supply chain solutions. Participating exhibitors include:

“We are thrilled to announce this impressive line-up of exhibitors for our first Nearshoring America EXPO,” said Cindy Morris, President & CEO of DMC. “These hand-picked trade organizations, alongside numerous individual exhibitors, underscore the importance and timeliness of this event. These exhibitors represent the cream of the crop in nearshoring opportunities, offering our attendees unparalleled access to vetted, high-quality manufacturing and service options closer to home.”

Exhibitors at the inaugural Nearshoring America EXPO include an invitation-only showcase of factories and supply chain providers that have been pre-selected based on their history, operating experience, and delivery.  In addition, supporting enterprises including sourcing agents, trading companies, shelter companies, and design and production consultants will be represented.  According to DMC, the exhibiting companies will be thoroughly vetted to ensure they are legitimately capable of supporting industry importer partners.

The show floor will feature a uniform presentation of each participant showcasing their production and/or supply chain services capabilities and each exhibitor will be prepared to immediately engage with attendees regarding terms and conditions of product development and production.

Attendees at the EXPO will include importers of gift, home furnishings, and apparel accessories seeking OEM product sources, project manufacturing services, and full-scale product development partnerships. Registration is now open for attendees on the Nearshoring America website.

In addition to showcasing vetted exhibitors, the Nearshoring America EXPO will be supported by a series of seminars and symposia focused on nearshoring in Mexico and Latin America. In support of the expo, a Nearshoring America INDEX has been created that includes an exclusive and vetted list of more than 300 manufacturers, sourcing agents and supply chain service providers organized by country. Finally, a Nearshoring newsletter is currently being distributed that includes background, research, commentary, and timely topics for the business of nearshoring.
