Lighting One celebrates another successful year in 2017. The cooperative saw its seventh year of continuous growth, with purchases exceeding $125 million to aligned suppliers.
In 2018, Lighting One continues to provide even more to its showroom members, such as addressing important topics that affect bottom lines and developing new and exclusive products.
“We are adding additional suppliers to our aligned supplier mix, focusing on the non-lighting side of offerings such as home décor, artwork, and small furniture,” says Angie Prost, Supplier & Product Manager. “These products will only be available to consumers through Lighting One member showrooms.”
Lighting One members benefit from a variety of programs to help set them apart from their competitors. One of those benefit programs in consumer financing. Consumer financing increases the average ticket, builds consumer loyalty base, and provides the individual showroom members with the same financing options as the big box stores and national chains.
“As an industry leader, Rick Wiedemer of Hinkley Lighting understands the value of our consumer financing program. He has coordinated with the Lighting One National team to provide an incentive to support those members that participate in Lighting One’s Consumer Financing Program,” says Gregg Garofalo, President of Lighting One.
Another great opportunity for Lighting One members is the cooperative’s annual “Be More” June convention.
“The convention will be a value-packed two days including speakers, creative marketing, consumer lead generation, networking sessions, business support programs, and our annual awards reception hosting 300 industry people,” Garofalo says.
