Metro Lighting, headquartered in St. Louis, celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
“We are thankful for the continued support of our customers. Fifty years would not have been possible without them,” says Bill Frisella, President of Metro Lighting.
Starting as an electrical supply distributor in 1967, Metro has grown into eight supply houses and six lighting showrooms in Brentwood, Chesterfield, Ballwin, O’Fallon, Arnold, and Cape Girardeau. The company maintains a high level of community involvement, supporting numerous charities and local schools, and employs more than 150 Missouri residents.
“From the very beginning, we vowed to offer the ultimate customer service,” continues Frisella. “Our success is owed to carrying out that tradition.”
Metro Lighting’s ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at its Brentwood showroom, located at 929 Hanley Industrial Ct. The community was invited to enjoy light snacks and refreshments. Mayor Christopher Thornton and Me’Shel Riedel, President of Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, were among those in attendance.
