Pittsburgh-based SaaS (software-as-a-service) marketing automation start-up SnapRetail has earned a spot in the top 25 of the Pittsburgh’s 100 Fastest-Growing Companies as a result of 125.9 percent revenue growth between 2011 and 2013. The company placed second in its specific category and 23rd overall as announced by the Pittsburgh Business Times at an awards ceremony on August 21.
In addition, SnapRetail was named as a Tech 50 finalist by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The company is a four-time finalist, but this is its first time as a finalist for the Interactive and Application Developer of the Year. The previous years were for the Start-up of the Year category. The finalists will be honored and the winners announced at a special event on October 21.
“It is truly humbling to be recognized for our growth and contributions to the Pittsburgh community,” states CEO Ted Teele. “We owe our success to our amazing employees and the thousands of small business owners who have put their trust in our solution to help them grow store sales. We are very grateful for their continued commitment.”
SnapRetail saves busy store owners both time and money and is the only marketing solution targeted specifically to all small business retail sectors. The company’s customers range from pet stores and florists to cafes, jewelers, fashion boutiques, and 50 other retail verticals and include both brick-and-mortar and online stores. The company was founded in early 2010, employs 70+ people, and will be moving into an expanded office space in October.
