Larchmont, N.Y.-based SONNEMAN—A Way of Light, a pioneer in modern lighting designed by creative visionary Robert Sonneman, has signed a lease and agreement to develop a 76,700-sq.-ft. warehouse in Orange County, New York. Slated to open this fall, the new warehouse will provide the capacity and capabilities to efficiently introduce new product lines with dedicated areas for cutting-edge manufacturing processes. As a design-and-engineering-driven brand, the new warehouse is strategically located in close proximity to SONNEMAN’s New York Design Center showroom and headquarters in Larchmont, with the goal to retain the regionally located skilled workforce who are integral to product development and execution.
“We are excited to begin this chapter with our new warehouse and continue SONNEMAN’s growth by investing in the resources and technology needed to further innovate and scale,” comments Robert Sonneman, Founder and Chief Creative Officer, SONNEMAN–A Way of Light. “I look forward to bringing my designs to life with the help of the state-of-the-art technology that the new warehouse will offer.”
The Orange County warehouse boasts a plethora of notable production capabilities including a downlight assembly line, videography and photography studio, state-of-the-art racking and distribution machinery with oversized product capabilities, and an Integrating Sphere used for photometric testing. In addition, there will be a number of newly implemented spaces such as built-out offices, training and demonstration spaces, and an engineering testing center. The warehouse will be located at 103 Tower Drive in Middletown, New York.
I hope they have a better customer support team.
