Xicato Makes Management Team Changes
Due to the company’s 35-percent growth last year, San Jose, Calif.-based Xicato has expanded its management team and announced the following promotions: Willem Sillevis Smitt to VP/Sales & Marketing Worldwide, Peter Tseng to VP/Engineering, and Mike Peanasky to VP/Manufacturing.

Willem Sillevis Smitt joined Xicato in May 2015 as VP/Marketing and has led the charge in defining Xicato’s stance on the IES TM-30-15 color rendering metric and helped drive the product expansion of XIM and launch of Beauty Series.
Pete Tseng joined Xicato in November 2007 and was instrumental in designing Xicato’s first LED platform, the Xicato Spot Module (XSM). Since then, he has been a critical contributor leading groups in the development, testing, and manufacturing of numerous platforms in the Xicato line.
Mike Peanasky joined Xicato in 2011 and assisted in the growth of the business as it scaled into high-volume production. He was involved in the manufacturing of Xicato’s new XIM and XTM platforms and is responsible for the large-scale transition of manufacturing to the Philippines.
