Zumtobel Lighting, the Americas division of Austrian lighting manufacturer Zumtobel, has opened a new office in Santiago, Chile to support growth in Latin America.

The Zumtobel office in Santiago has the ability to provide lighting solutions to the Latin American market with both 110-volt and 220-volt lighting systems from Zumtobel locations in the U.S. and Europe.

“The opening of the Santiago office to include its sales, distribution, service, and support capabilities demonstrates our commitment to grow in the Americas,” says Kevin Maddy, CEO of Zumtobel Lighting, Inc. “There was a growing need for our presence in the Latin American market in order to best serve our clients and make ourselves more accessible and responsive to our clients’ needs.”

Led by Managing Director Pedro Rego and staffed by multi-lingual staff speaking Spanish, Portuguese, English, and German, this Chile office will handle sales, distribution, service, and support capability throughout Central and South America.

Additionally, the Latin American team has the support of Zumtobel Group worldwide including the Key Accounts team located in Dallas and New York, as well as the International Projects team in the U.S. and Austria
