Victor Crage Retires After 40 Years With Quoizel
At the recent January Dallas Market, Quoizel celebrated long-time rep Victor Crage with a retirement party. For the past 40 years, Victor has served the Eastern Canada and upstate New York territories.
Victor is a past recipient of the company’s Salesman of the Year award as well as the Top Tab Seller in 2007 and the Top Market Salesperson in 2012. In addition, he has hit the $2-Million Club many times.
In appreciation for his hard work, Vic received a watch. He is looking forward to spending time with his wife Terry, his four children, 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Victor Crage will be remembered for many things during his illustrious 40-year career at Quoizel,” says company President Rick Seidman. “Everyone would agree that his exceptional ability to verbally romanticize our products tops the list. One commonality of our Quoizel sales fraternity is that all of our salespeople have shadowed Victor at a Dallas market in order to listen in splendor as he elegantly articulated the design elements of a Quoizel light fixture. He is the best orator of decorative lighting and we will miss his silver tongue.
“Victor’s lively personality will also be missed by his lighting friends and peers. “Victor is loved and adored by our organization and his customers,” Seidman notes. “Anywhere you go with Victor, everyone is genuinely happy to see him. He loves to laugh and have a good time. Lighting showrooms, Italian restaurants, hotels, Tim Horton’s coffee shops…he knows their names and they know his. I know that he is looking forward to this chapter in his life and plans to spend most of his time enjoying his family. We wish him a wonderful retirement and thank him for all that he has done over the past four decades to make us a better company.”
Victor enjoys tennis, traveling, and fine wine. One of his dreams is to open up his own bistro.
