In addition to the original 11-inch tubular Edison filament bulb (40 or 75 watts in Clear or Frosted Glass), the Sorenthia can be ordered with a 4-inch tubular Edison filament bulb (60 watts, Clear Glass), or a 5”-diameter Globe bulb (60 watts, Clear Glass). A Unique Armadillo: Los Angeles designer James de Wulf recently introduced two hanging fixtures: the Armadillo pendant and the Armadillo chandelier. Both are made from solid brass and have slats that direct the light downward and interlock to hide the light source. “I wanted something with organic proportions that didn’t follow a stiff mathematical pattern,” de Wulf explains. “These are two very eye-catching pieces that will age beautifully.” The pendant measures 7” x 7” x 19” and the chandelier is 14” x 14” x 38”. www.jamesdwulf.com |
