The annual ART Conference, produced by the home accents industry association ART, will be held May 7-10 at the Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami. The conference is structured to include business, motivational, home trend, and design presenters along with interactive workshops. Registration for the conference is open to anyone in the home accents industry.
The schedule begins with a dinner presentation by the organization’s charity partner, Dwell with Dignity on Tuesday, May 7 and over the following two days, the conference features eight high-energy speakers and workshop leaders ending with a dinner celebration on May 9.
Among the speakers are:
- Alexa Hampton of Mark Hampton, LLC. She will be speaking on “The Language of Interior Design,” Her work is often featured in shelter magazines and she has been honored with numerous awards, most recently the Design Icon Award from World Market Center, Las Vegas. Hampton has design licenses with Kravet, Stark Carpets, Hickory Chair, Chesney’s, and Visual Comfort & Co.
- Roy Spence of GSD & M & The Purpose Institute. Spence is a popular motivational speaker who has addressed business, government, and non-profit community events. He is the Chairman and CEO of GSD&M Idea City, a leading national marketing communications and advertising company that has helped grow some of the world’s most successful brands including Southwest Airlines, MasterCard, and BMW. His presentation is “Why Every Extraordinary Business is Driven by Purpose.”
