Brilliance LED (BLED), based in Carefree Ariz., has promoted Shane Mikkelsen to VP/Sales. Mikkelsen’s appointment aligns with the company’s continued growth as a key manufacturer of high-performance landscape retrofit lamps and lighting solutions throughout the U.S. and beyond. Mikkelsen joined BLED in March of 2016 as National Sales Manager. [I deleted all of the fantastic praise for him right after that sentence because we don’t know who wrote it/said it.]

Mikkelsen’s background includes 30 years of managing products in the Electronic and Solid State Lighting industries. He also has experience in the identification and implementation of energy-efficient projects on a state and federal level.
