This year there is an ALA Conference app — available for both iOS and Android operating systems. “It has social networking capability built into it,” notes Eric Jacobson. “Members can put in reminders for the sessions they want to attend into the Calendar portion, plus there will be a hotel map, manufacturer booth information, and any schedule updates that occur,” he adds. “You can do everything from plan your day and filling out the session evaluation forms to voting for the winners of the Larry Sayah Innovation Forum.”
