DMC Will Be Sole Summer Market Offering Temporary Booths

Buyers who relish combing the Temporary booths at major markets to uncover unique finds from small companies for their stores will be relieved to hear that “The Temps” will remain part of the Dallas Market Center’s (DMC) summer shows.

According to the DMC, 400+ temporary exhibitors will be showcased during its August trade events.

During the Total Home & Gift Market, The Temps will take place August 19 to 22 and will be located on World Trade Center (WTC) 11th floor, the first floor of the Trade Mart (TM), and across the street in Market Hall’s Main space  and North Hall.

During The Men’s Show, The Temps will take place August 15 to 17 in the expo space on the 7th floor of WTC; for the Apparel & Accessories Market and Dallas Western & English Market, The Temps will be open August 25 to 28.

The findings of recent customer surveys indicate that The Temps are visited by 9 out of 10 Dallas buyers and are viewed as a critical part of the market experience and new product sourcing. For the summer shows, all Temps neighborhoods are being designed with careful attention to social distancing.

In support of the health and safety of all guests, DMC has put strict measures in place to guide the August events. The complete protocols are available via a link on the front page of the DMC website (www.dallasmarketcenter.com). Those measures include existing procedures for social distancing as well as recent additions such as a mask requirement and a mandatory temperature check for each person entering the marketplace including all buyers and exhibitors. The guidelines also cover facility operations, registration, food and beverage service, shuttles, employee screening, and more. A quick list of health & safety protocols as well as a link to the comprehensive plan are available here http://blog.dallasmarketcenter.com/new-health-safety-measures.
