Atlanta-based Acuity Brands Lighting – with brands that include Juno, Lithonia, Winona, and Holophane, among others –
is returning to Dallas Market Center (DMC) with a new 1,000-sq.-ft. showroom on the fourth floor of the Trade Mart (#4634) that will open in time for the upcoming Lightovation show January 8-12.
Acuity will showcase its residential and retail lines of smart home, LED, and lighting solutions within a custom, interactive space. Juno AI will be among the new products showcased: a LED lighting fixture that not only illuminates a room, but also controls any smart home device that works with Amazon Alexa.
“Acuity Brands Lighting realized that if we want to reach the buyers who matter in the lighting trade, then we have to have a presence at the Dallas Market Center. They are known not only for the top trade shows in this business, but also for strong daily design traffic. Acuity is excited to launch our new showroom at the leading marketplace for lighting innovation,” says Dennis Noyce, Acuity Brands Lighting VP/Strategic Account Sales.
Acuity joins dozens of lighting companies deepening their commitment to Dallas Market Center via long-term new leases, renewals, or expansions. The total space under new agreements for Lightovation is more than 100,000 square feet and represents the largest collection of new lighting leases since 2007, according to the DMC.
“We’re proud to have the confidence and long-term support from innovative companies including Acuity Brands Lighting,” says Cindy Morris, President & CEO of DMC. “Their lighting and building management solutions are the best reflection of quality, style, and innovation we promote at Lightovation. Our exhibitor partners know that only in Dallas will they experience strong trade events with global buyers as well as daily design business to help them achieve their business goals throughout the year.”
