In a relocation similar to well-known brands such as Christopher Guy, Elegant Lighting, and Aidan Gray, Abbyson will debut its flagship showroom in its own building at 300 East Green Street in time for the Spring High Point Market. Abbyson offers living room furniture, bedroom sets, outdoor living furniture, plus lamps and chandeliers, among other product categories.
“We are delighted that Abbyson continues to invest in High Point Market with their latest move from a showroom in the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) to a stand-alone building at 300 East Green,” says Scott Eckman, Executive VP/Furniture & Home Décor for International Market Centers (MC).
The two-story building will feature more than 60 rooms of product, a full-service restaurant and wine bar, a design center, and a digital store with Abbyson’s current product line. The design center will be open year-round by appointment and serve as a working space for designers to come and shop Abbyson’s collection. The design center also will be a platform to host events and panel discussions.
“At Abbyson, we respect the long-standing history of the High Point furniture industry and truly believe that this city is the furniture capital of the world,” says Yavar Rafieha, President of Abbyson. “That is why we have invested in our state-of-the-art flagship showroom here and chose to create a one-of-a-kind immersive experience that will become an industry destination, much like the city of High Point. Abbyson wants to continue our 30-year legacy and build upon the roots of furniture history in the city that started it all.”
For Spring Market, Abbyson will introduce more than 10 Modern Traditional collections, which will showcase a clean style that allows buyers to mix and match and blend different looks to create their own style. The new product designs will include upholstery collections, bedroom, dining, case goods and occasional furniture, among other products. Additionally, Abbyson will launch new technology for its motion upholstery line.
