The small size of LED packages means designers have more artistic freedom than ever when creating lighting fixtures. Here is a sampling of some of the new, innovative products on the market.
LBL Lighting: The Scarlett suspension is a theatrical, linear metal frame filled with dazzling plated metal facets. It includes 12 feet of field-cuttable aircraft cable and two 9.5 watt, 3000K LED strips. The facet colors are available in Rose Gold, Gold, and Chrome; the finish choices are Gunmetal or White. It measures 46.4” long x 4.8” high
LightLink Lighting: The F1 Ribbon Suspension fixture is made of waterjet-cut aircraft aluminum and multiple layers of dichroic film. The wafer thin, illuminated sculpture measures 9.5’ x 12” and washes the ceiling in a remotely controlled RGB color-cycling LED program. It is suspended by ultra-thin 10-ft. stainless steel cables.
Koncept Lighting: The Tono™ LED Mood Light stands 48.5 inches high and is only one inch thick. Featuring 126 LEDs, Tono™ is capable of displaying both white light and colored light. The white light can be adjusted from warm (2700K) to cool (8000K) and the floor lamp can cycle through 1,500 color combinations of RGB by using the intuitive built-in touch slider and three touch buttons. The touch slider also turns the lamp on/off and dims the light level.
Tech Lighting: The new Pull Large wall sconce has a seamless metal shade covered in a choice of black or white rubberized paint. It measures 9” high x 4.25” wide x 3.75” deep and has a colorful fabric cord accent (available in Black, Gray, or Orange) hanging below as the “pull” to turn the LED lamping on and off. It can also be ordered in a smaller size.
Troy Lighting: The Paradigm fixture is part of the RLM collection, which blends modern lighting technology with design inspired by the factory shades of the early 20th century.
The Ingot LED sconce showcases the rugged material texture of a heavily forged plate, but features LED lamping hidden inside the rectangular cast arm and bounded by a simple square frame. It is ADA-compliant and available in a choice of finishes.
Thank you so much for featuring Lightlink Lighting’s latest offering, the wireless, LED powered,
F1 Ribbon Suspension designed for the new Formula 1 racetrack in Austin, Texas. It was an
I spring piece to design and build, as was the TEDx conference for which it was designed.
