During the Fall High Point Market, Chelsea House will be hosting a party in its showroom on Sunday (October 19) for buyers to meet designer Bradshaw Orrell and peruse his new collection of furniture, lighting, artwork, and decorative accessories. The showroom is located at 200 North Hamilton. The collection features materials such as metal with gold and silver leaf, lacquered colors including faux malachite, and subtle Asian undertones in a clean aesthetic.
“I’m very excited about this new collection,” Orrell states. “It provides me the opportunity to bring affordable sculptural pieces to the market that are the true jewelry of a room. I’m an editor that loves clean lines and crisp bright spaces that are layered with color, texture, and pattern. This aesthetic fits perfectly with Chelsea House.”
“We could not be more thrilled to have Bradshaw designing a collection for us, and it is fabulous,” says Bill Cain, President of Chelsea House. “His use of brass, gold leaf, honed porcelain, French lacquer, wood, and glass comes together beautifully. There are pieces that are stand-alone design statements as well as pieces that designers look for every day such as square and round cocktail tables. Our customers are going to find so much they love in this collection.”
