“We are all aware of the increasingly complex nature of our business with respect to omni-channel retail and we have aligned our leadership to meet those challenges head-on,” notes Ken Lebersfeld, CEO of Capitol Lighting, which has showrooms in Florida and New Jersey.
Sandy Ronco – a 30-year Capital Lighting veteran – has been appointed to the new created position of National Director of Operations. “She looks forward to being able to bring her incredible work ethic, dogged determination, and great understanding of process to bear as she focuses on maximizing the efficiencies of Capitol Lighting’s 2 distribution centers, 6 other warehouses, and 8 showrooms,” Lebersfeld states.
“We are at a critical moment in time where anything less than perfect execution of displaying and delivering our products to our customers will result in loss of sales. Our operations teams in all stores will be raising the bar to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations,” Ronco notes.
In addition, Paul Adams has been tapped as National Director of Sales. Most recently Adams served as Senior Principal Consultant for Retail Transformation, North America at Office Depot.
“Capitol Lighting’s leadership has long recognized that the future of selling decorative home lighting is an omni-channel approach,” Adams explains. “This means we must deliver an outstanding online and in-store experience. I look forward to utilizing my 25 years of successful execution in retail, omni-channel development, strategy and operational excellence to help the team realize the company’s goals and vision.”
