The intent-to-submit deadline for the 2015 Lighting for Tomorrow competition is only one month away: Friday, April 24. Online submission forms – including the intent-to-submit form – are available atwww.lightingfortomorrow.com under Entrant Guides. Interested lighting professionals are able to submit up to 5 entries per submission form.
The 2015 edition of the annual competition is building on the momentum from previous competitions for lighting control and solid-state lighting products including:
Stand-alone, system-based, and whole-house control devices
- LED and OLED luminaires for specific applications
- LED retrofit kits
- LED replacement lamps
- High-lumen LED lamps
- Replacement lamps under $10
- Contractor lighting (fixtures under $50)
- Decorative replacement lamps
- High efficiency LED products
- High CRI LED products
- Senior -friendly lighting products

The Lighting for Tomorrow competition allows manufacturers to gain recognition for the best designed, energy-efficient lighting products, and subsequently increases the availability of high-quality ENERGY STAR®-qualified residential lighting fixtures, replacement lamps, and retrofit kits in the market.
