DMC Announces 2023 Light Stars for Lightovation

Dallas Market Center (DMC), home of Lightovation, has announced its 2023 Light Stars honorees, who will attend the June 21-24 edition of Lightovation as special guests.  This year’s 53 Light Stars represent 16 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces, encompassing all regions.

Light Stars can be nominated by anyone in the industry who wishes to reward an exceptional individual who wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to attend Lightovation but would greatly benefit from the experience. Honorees accepted into the Light Stars program receive airfare and two hotel nights during the June show. Nominations were received this year through March 13.

In addition to travel and hotel arrangements, Light Stars are granted access to all Lightovation exhibits and events, including the Showroom of the Year Awards on Wednesday, June 21, at 6pm and the popular Lighting After Dark party, taking place 8pm-11pm on Thursday, June 22, at Scout inside the Statler Hotel. DMC’s Lighting Concierge Arturo Maluy will also lead orientation tours starting at 9am on both days, providing an excellent way for first-timers to get acclimated.

Cindy Morris, DMC President & CEO, noted, “These lighting professionals are our VIP guests as we honor their commitment and experience. We look forward to welcoming them, connecting them with other leaders, and expanding their knowledge through events, trends, and networking.”
