SKYX Platforms Corp. (Sky Technologies), a platform technology company, has hired Eric Jacobson, past President & CEO of the American Lighting Association (ALA), in an advisory role.
Last year, Jacobson stepped back from his role at ALA to tend to his family’s business. While he continues to focus on those duties, Jacobson has taken on an advisory role with SKYX to lend his extensive industry experience to the company as they work through the standardization process of its safe ceiling outlet.
“Having worked with ALA for more than 30 years, the lighting industry has become like an extended family to me,” said Jacobson. “I’m excited for the opportunity to work with a company whose mission aligns with the goal of supporting the industry and expanding the sale of lighting products.”
