At an exclusive Designer Event during the Spring High Point Market last week, New York-based Schonbek unveiled its Forever by Schonbek collection at a by-invitation-only Reveal Party that showcased the new crystal pendants, wall sconces, and tabletop luminaires inside the domestic manufacturer’s permanent showroom on the mezzanine of Suites at Market Square.
All 150 attendees received a luxury swag bag that included a pair of genuine Swarovski earrings; however, the biggest allure was the opportunity to win a trip for two to Curacao at the luxurious all-inclusive 5-Star Sandals resort (a package valued at $10,000) in a random drawing. In addition to roundtrip airfare, the package includes eight fine dining restaurants and activities such as PADI Certified SCUBA diving, snorkeling equipment, and other sports. No purchase was necessary to be entered into the drawing, the winner only needed to be present to win.
Amid music, gourmet hors d’ oeuvres, and champagne, designers were able to peruse the latest designs in the Forever by Schonbek collection. At the end of the soiree, the lucky winner was announced as Amanda Furbee of Verity Design Studio in Raleigh, NC. Dirk Wald, President & CEO of Schonbek, presented Furbee with the grand prize.
The Forever by Schonbek collection was inspired by the look of fine jewelry and integrates the latest LED technology with edgy modern crystal lighting designs featuring the company’s Radiance crystal.
