Springfield, Mo.-based GuildMaster has announced a contest that encourages buyers to submit their favorite stories of how GuildMaster pieces have enhanced their lives. This contest is the next phase of the “Stories Made by Hand” marketing campaign that started earlier this year. Buyers will have the opportunity to share their stories by visiting the GuildMaster Facebook page, or by visiting the showroom at the C&D Building, Suite 1-A by April 6 during the
upcoming High Point Market.
“Stories Made by Hand” is at the root of the GuildMaster brand. As we grow and evolve the design aesthetic of our line, the stories behind the inspiration for each piece also evolve. For our Spring 2014 collection, GuildMaster is launching pieces with a modern industrial edge, featuring reclaimed woods and metals inspired by travels through Europe, specifically the farmhouses of Scandinavia, Italy, and France. We’re sharing these stories of inspiration with our customers through our new catalog, which chronicles the design origins of select pieces,” explains CEO Steve Crowder. “This new look for GuildMaster marks the next chapter in ‘Stories Made by Hand’ and we look forward to hearing from buyers how handcrafted GuildMaster pieces have touched their lives.”
“We invite buyers to share their GuildMaster stories with us for an opportunity to win a $1,000 credit toward a future order” adds Margaret Powers, VP/Sales & Marketing. “Buyers can enter the contest by submitting a few lines about cherished memories of an event in which a GuildMaster piece played a role. We will review the stories submitted by April 6 and will announce the winner for the best story at noon on Tuesday, April 8, in the GuildMaster showroom” Powers states.
