Hudson Valley Lighting Group (HVLG) has announced the expansion of its headquarters in Wappingers Falls, New York. The project, which spanned nearly 15 months and employed 35+ local contractors, has added an impressive 16,000 square feet to HVLG’s office space, creating new workstations and a brand new product design studio.
“The Hudson Valley region’s vibrant atmosphere has always been a source of inspiration and opportunity for us,” said David Littman, founder & CEO of HVLG. “This expansion strengthens our connection to the Hudson Valley community while allowing us to continue enriching lives with our aesthetically pleasing, quality-first lighting.”
Littman started the company in 1985 in Newburgh, N.Y., where it thrived for nearly three decades. Since then, HVLG has expanded, acquired three brands, established another, and relocated to Wappingers Falls in 2016 to accommodate growth.
The expanded headquarters now encompasses 26,000 square feet and showcases numerous enhancements. In addition to the new workstations and private offices across the multi-story building, HVLG has introduced multiple conference rooms, a new break room and kitchen area that has now doubled in size, and a state-of-the-art product design studio which boasts an expanded sample library and features a cutting-edge 3D-printing machine, further enhancing HVLG’s ability to create innovative lighting solutions. The expansion also includes an ADA-accommodating elevator and a fully equipped gym accessible to all employees, promoting health, wellness, and inclusivity.
HVLG plans to establish new positions for its Business Development and Customer Service teams, as well as for its CSL division based in California as part of its growth strategy. This expansion strengthens the ties between HVLG and its five brand families: Hudson Valley, Troy, Corbett, CSL, and Mitzi. By bringing these brands together under one roof, HVLG aims to provide an even more seamless and comprehensive lighting experience for its customers.
“The expansion is an opportunity to continue our pursuit of excellence, as a company internally and for the products we’re creating,” Littman said. “As we strengthen our roots in the Hudson Valley, we remain dedicated to upholding our long-term vision of being an ever-evolving company and designing lighting that elevates every environment.”
