Hudson Valley Lighting Group’s facility in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., has been awarded with the LEED Silver designation for energy efficiency. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a widely used green building rating system that provides an outline for energy-efficient, cost-effective, and healthy building spaces. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement.

As a Silver-designated building, the Hudson Valley Lighting facility has earned LEED points across several categories, including: water efficiency, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality, energy and atmosphere, location and transportation, sustainable sites, and innovation.
